Blogging is a great way to make money from home. But you have to do it right. This means you have to know who your target audience is, what they like and what they’re willing to do to spend their money on your site. Here is a great article that explains this further.
Creating A Money Making Blog in 3 Steps
Creating a money making blog really requires only 3 steps which are not difficult but do take time to fully develop. Still interested? You see earning an income off a blogging platform requires traffic like any other type internet business. The difference however is that blog traffic needs to be not only attracted to your site but also enticed to return! Promoting off a blogging platform involves much more patience and finesse than ‘traditional’ marketing methods.
With a little patience and persistence here are 3 steps that if done correctly will have you earning an income as a blogger!
Lots of Content
In order for any blogging platform to get noticed online it must contain good content and lots of it. In so many words it will be up to the site administrator to ‘fill the pipeline’ in terms of building up a respectable inventory of content! This is where many get discouraged because they do not see results as fast as they may expect! This is why it is always suggested to choose a topic to blog about that holds your interest since this help strengthens your motivation and resolve to continue writing!
Continue Posting
Once the blog traffic begins to build do not be fooled into thinking you can sit back on your laurels. It is at this point that you are establishing a presence therefore take advantage of the momentum that is building. By continuing to post material of good quality you can now take advantage of referrals your current visitors will give you. It is only human nature that if somebody finds something they like they want to tell their friends and in this way you can build your blog traffic that much faster! The best part is you know anybody that is referred to your site likely already has a high level of interest in the subject!
Make Your Offer
Now you got the attention of many along with a loyalty that is developing due to your quality and consistency of updating! Granted that it didn’t happen overnight however the ‘foundation’ you have established is that much stronger! Now its time to start earning an income by ‘introducing’ products in a manner that is more a suggestion. Easy here in how you present your offers since you want people to return don’t you? Remember up to this point you’ve gain visitors loyalty and respect so don’t turn into an overly aggressive marketer they no longer recognize! Your success in the long run will be in having blog traffic that returns and is loyal thereby making your promotional efforts more effective, just don’t get pushy!
When putting together a money making blog your focus needs to be on creating good quality content. Keep in mind that the quality of your updates will attract the blog traffic you want and need but your consistency is what will keep them returning! Once people develop a certain loyalty it is then that you can begin earning a income off your blogging platform! As the discussion above strongly suggests reader loyalty must first be earned before you start making product offers. However to continue earning an income off your site your focus should never waiver from creating content that keeps readers happy while attracting new traffic as well!

Tips on How to Improve Blogging Profits
I have been a blogger for some time now and I am always on the look for improving tips and actions in order to get the most of my blogs as well as to offer people something of value in return which can be in the form of advice, tips and services or any mix of these.
If you are into blogging for profits here are some tips that I can recommend to everyone who is interested in either improving their blogs or learning something for future use.
Whether you are new to blogging or creating a new blog be selective on your niche and use competitive keywords that are related to that niche. I recommend to use Google AdSense keyword tool but there are other keyword selection tools available based on the search engine that you wish to concentrate to get your traffic from.
Content is king and traffic is queen! Yes I have heard many times that either content is the king or traffic is the king and the debate about it can be an intense one. Based on my experience a blog cannot exist without either one of them for sure.
You need to have traffic to your blog but if you blog is not content rich or does not have any valuable new information updated regularly your visitors may come and most probably will not return often if ever. You need to have fresh content on your blog. If you do not have time to write it yourself you can outsource it but always make sure to read it before publishing it and add any personal touch whenever possible.
Every time you update your content make sure that you ping your blog so the directories know that you have new content.
Do not just get traffic based on quantity. Try to get traffic to your blog that is mostly organic targeted type. I have the experience of paying for traffic services that offer a large number of visitors but I have found the hard way that most of this traffic is either automatically generated, comes from sources not related to my niche or the visitors from this kind of traffic do not have enough time to read my blog as they are just surfing the net to get credits of some kind. Participate actively in forums and post comments in other people’s blogs so other people can visit your blog as well to exchange views and ideas.
Use additional forms of monetization for your blog besides selling your products, affiliate products or services. The other forms of monetization can be either by using advertisements from Google Ads, Amazon ads or eBay ads in any combination. Just make sure to read their restrictions of use.
There are many other forms of monetization which can be added to your blog as you progress in your experience or want to expand to other niches. So I always keep my eyes peeled for new and better ways of blogging and try to exercise my blogging skills any way I possibly can.
